Islamorada Investment Management is now a registered investment adviser in the State of California. This is the third state IIM is licensed in, after Florida and Texas. And now we’re gonna need some California jokes.

A man and his wife were driving their RV through the Florida Keys and were approaching a town called Islamorada. They noted the strange spelling and tried to figure how to pronounce it. is-la-MOR-dor? eye-lam-eh-ROD-o? ice-LAM-o-ray-day?

They grew more perplexed as they drove into town. They were hungry, so they pulled into a restaurant. At the counter, the man says to the waitress, “My wife and I can’t figure out how to pronounce the name of this place. Will you tell me where we are – and can you please say it very slowly so I can understand?”

The woman looks at him and says, “Buuurrrgerrr Kiiiinnnng.”

Okay, I’m done. We are officially open for business in California.
